Production and Quality Control Engineer.
Micrima is currently recruiting for a new member of the engineering team.
Support the introduction of new products and processes into our contract manufacturer, providing both on and off-site support. Our current contract manufacturing is UK based.
Assist the design teams and manufacturing in identifying and resolving product/process problems (these include product release and production issues). They will ensure issues are fully closed out including full risk mitigation and compliance.
Support the quality department in all aspects of adherence to the companies Quality Management System. These include documentation, control procedures and engineering change management in compliance with ISO 13485 and other regulatory standards for both existing and new products in existing as well as new regulatory markets.
Create and maintain controlled documentation. This will include manufacturing documentation such as the product technical file, process flows, bills of materials, work and inspection instructions.
Assist in part procurement for development and pre-production.
Ensure all incoming manufactured and purchased components meet the requirements of the purchase order and referenced specifications.
Inspect goods in and process non-conforming items through the required procedures.
Be able to work to problem solve.
Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
This role will be based in the Bristol office but there may be occasional travel to sites where the MARIA system is installed across Europe.
Experience or understanding of working for a medical devices company.
